Caretino Glory is by the superbly bred Cheenook, who was performance tested in 1991.
A prolific Grand Prix dressage winner, his progeny are well represented in all regions of Germany.
Cheenook is by Caretino, a winner of the 1989 Holstein Showjumping Championships.
He went on to compete internationally in Nation Cups and Grand Prix's under Bo Kristofferson and Ludger
Beerbaum before injury forced an early retirement. He is owned by the Holstein Verband.
Caretino is
also the sire of Zangersheide Stud's new star, Caretano. Under Jos Lansink he won the WBFSH champion
for 7 year olds in 1999 and is in top of the league for Sires of the World 2001.
Caretino is by Caletto
II, the prominent sire of jumpers including 1992 Olympic Gold medallist- Classic Touch under Ludger
Beerbaum. Cheenook's dam is grand daughter to the great Ramiro Z. Ramiro Z has over 100 graded sons
and more than 50 showjumpers competing at international level, along with many dressage progeny.
Probably his best known offspring is the fantastic mare Ratina Z, a winner of an Olympic medal, plus
European and World Cup wins, she has since bred her first foal for the Zangersheide Stud.
Other progeny include Robin Z I & II, the Rebel Z line, Dramiro and Maximillion Saluut to name
just a few. Ramiro Z was ranked as number one jumper sire in 1995/96 season with the WBFSH.

Glorieuze is a daughter to Glorieux, a leading breeding stallion in Germany, being owned by the German
maestro Paul Schockemoehle; he has 5 approved sons and over 60 main studbook mares.
Glorieux's grand sire is the great Gotthard, whose progeny include Goldika, Gonzales and Graf.
Glorieuze's dam sire is Calypso I, a superb sire of many jumping stars including Caspar and Calando 14.
Calypso I's dam, Tabelle is full sister to Dressage World Champion-Grannat.

International Grade A.
As a young horse he qualified 2nd rounds in Discovery, Newcomers & Foxhunter, Milton 5 years, Style and Performance 4 & 5 years, Star Spotters and 1.25m.
In the YHE he scored an Impressive 9.5 and 9.0 in the loose jumping, with a spectacular double 9.5 in the ridden jumping for technique and temperament. The first time that two 9.5's had been awarded.
His jump is with outstanding technique and scope, he combines this with elastic suspension in his paces, being very elevated and correct, he learns well due to his intelligence.
Now competing 1.40m/1.50m.

His foals are of outstanding quality with star appeal. They have movement and correctness,
sure to be real athletes for the future.
His oldest progeny are competing with the BSJA.
