The Sire: Hamilton III

Hamilton III is a BSJA Silver disc stallion. He is Grade A with winnings of approx. 1960.

Competed at 1.40m with International rider William Funnell. A regular winner at the Anglo European Stallion shows, he is fully approved AES.

Hamilton has numerous progeny competing within the BSJA/BD/BE.
Hamilton's sire is Siprano who is a grand son of Mourne xx. Mourne xx is the grand sire of Nelson Pessoa's former ride Alcatraz and the well-known Laudanum who jumped at International level, accumulating winnings in excess of Ff100,000 between 1972/1977. He has approx 40 approved sons.

Siprano's dam is by Ibrahim, a sire name that needs no introduction to Showjumping fans, his best known progeny include Alme Z, Jalisco B, Double Espoir and Elf III among many.

The Dam: Tropicana

Tropicana is a daughter to Tropic Star [trak] who jumped to Grade A and competed at top county level before Injury cut his career short at the age of nine.

Tropic Star's sire, Traumdeuter became a prominent sire of dressage horses.

Tropic Star's dam is by Furioso II who is also the sire of the famous Voltaire. Tropicana's dam is by the Irish Sport Horse Magic Motion who competed in England to 1.30m level before being sold abroad, where under his new owners he won a gold medal at the Pan Am games in the nineties. The dam line goes back to Artic Que.

Another of Tropicana's progeny was sold to Holland as a 4 year old showjumper.
